Hi, I’m Joey Strainer
I grew up in a small suburb in Central California. Ever since high school, I’ve been fascinated by design, and that passion became the foundation of my career. After graduating, I earned an A.S. in Graphic Applications and a B.A. in Communications with a focus on Graphic Design in 2020. Today, I’m dedicated to honing my skills and creating impactful designs that transform ideas into functional, meaningful visuals.
In my free time, I am a family man who values connection and cherishes life’s simple moments. I enjoy going on hikes and finding inspiration in the beauty of the everyday. My designs are deeply influenced by real-life experiences, bringing authenticity and relatability to every project.

Discovered My Passion for Design
During high school, I became fascinated by graphic design, sparking a lifelong passion for creativity and visual storytelling.

Pursued Graphic Design Education
Enrolled in Modesto Junior College, earning my A.S. in Graphic Applications while building foundational skills in design tools and principles.

Graduated from Chico State University with a B.A. in Communications, specializing in Graphic Design. Served as AIGA Student Group President, organizing workshops and fostering design collaboration.
